PWAP Ottawa

After two years, we are thrilled for PWAP to return to Ottawa! IJM Ottawa Campuses will be joining with PWAP to host our third PWAP Ottawa event on September 24th. This event will provide space to gather, learn, connect, and stand with those experiencing human trafficking around the world. Join us for a semi-formal dinner and dance in support of IJM Canada and Voice Found.



PWAP Toronto

We cannot wait until we can meet together for PWAP's 6th Toronto event, Unmasked! This semi-formal charity gala event for youth and young adults will be held in Toronto when it is safe to do so. All the funds raised from this event will support  International Justice Mission and locally based projects.

Justice Conference 2021

After a year of a world turned upside down, we are grateful to be able to meet together for our first ever online Justice Conference! PWAP and IJM UOttawa are partnered to host this conference entirely through Zoom and brought together experienced speakers and advocates on topics of Biblical justice, worship and lament, and practical tips from those with lived experience combatting injustice! 


PWAP Ottawa 2020

Our second PWAP Ottawa event, The Art of Mercy, was hosted in partnership with the University of Ottawa IJM campus chapter on March 14th, 2020. This sold out event brought together almost 100 people to learn about and celebrate the front line work of International Justice Mission Canada, BridgeNorth, and the Mekong Club. It was a beautiful night of learning, community, and meaningful conversation!


PWAP 2019: Hope Blooms

Hope Blooms marked PWAP's 5th anniversary and was held at Wycliffe College on March 30th, 2019. This event drew over 55 guests from across Southern Ontario to celebrate the hope that is stirring in the fight against sex trafficking and  the lives that are being restored both locally and internationally. Together we raised over $2400 for International Justice Mission Canada and U R Home. It was a wonderful night of meaningful conversation, laughter, good food, and good friends! 


PWAP Ottawa 2019

PWAP East: Northern Lights was hosted by a passionate team of youth who wanted to bring PWAP to Ottawa and provide education on the topic of sex trafficking. The event brought together over 60 people on March 9th, 2019 and raised over $1200 for International Justice Mission Canada and Bridgenorth.  It was a wonderful night of learning, community, and some spectacular dance moves!


PWAP 2018: Go Beyond

Go Beyond, PWAP's fourth event, was hosted at Wycliffe College in Toronto on January 4th, 2018. This event saw our highest fundraising total to date with over $5000 raised to support the work of two incredible organizations! It was a wonderful night full of storytelling and conversation surrounding how we, as a generation of young people, can Go Beyond to impact change in our world. It was an evening of meaningful conversation, good friends, and fun for all! 


Northern Lights - 2017

PWAP's third event, Northern Lights,  was held in Toronto on March 4th, 2017. With over 80 people in attendance and $3200 raised, this was PWAP's largest event yet! With such a large group it was an exciting evening with lots of laughter, dancing, and powerful presentations. Our theme focused on how we each can 'Be a Light' in the darkness.  


The Gallery - 2016

The Gallery, PWAP's second event, was held in February 2016. The night was a huge success with over 60 people in attendance and over $2200 raised. The night was full of laughter, dancing, good food, and meaningful conversation. Our theme focused on the fact that we are all masterpieces created in the image of God. 


Into the Night - 2014

Into the Night marked PWAP's inaugural event and far surpassed our expectations. With about 55 youth in attendance we raised over $3000  and heard meaningful stories from two speakers on the issue of sex trafficking. This event was the beginning of the PWAP story and was a significant learning experience for all those involved.
